Customize Guidebook Link

You can customize the link to your guidebook to include the property’s name or your brand. You must publish your guidebook first in order to edit the link.

To view and update your guidebook’s link:

  1. Log in to your Folio account.

  2. Click on the guidebook to open the Guide Details Page.

  3. Click on the Guide Link button in the middle of the page.

  4. A popup will appear with the ability to edit the second half of your guide’s link (called the “slug”). The first half of the link is fixed.

  5. Change the link as you see fit. Only letters, numbers, and the dash (-) symbol can be used, while other characters are not supported.

  6. Click Save to save your new link. Once changed, the old link will no longer work, so please remember to update it in your messing to guests. If you are using the QR code to share your guide, that does not need to be update. It will automatically redirect to the new link.

Send Guidebook Link

You can send your guidebook link to guests through email, text, or messaging them on the platform through which they booked. Your guests can open your guide on desktop, tablet or mobile — and no app downloads are needed.

To find the link to your guide:

  1. Log in to your Folio account.

  2. Click on the guidebook to open the Guide Details Page.

  3. Click on the Guide Link button in the middle of the page, and a popup will appear with your guide’s link.

  4. Copy and paste the link into your message to send to your guests!

Share via QR Code

Print as PDF

You or your guests can print a version of your Folio guide.

To print from your Folio account:

  1. Log in to your Folio account.

  2. Click on the guidebook to open the Guide Details Page.

  3. Click on the Print Guide button in the middle of page.

  4. The printable layout of your guide will open up in a new tab. Select Ctrl-P or ⌘-P or File > Print to open the print dialog. Select your printer or save as PDF.

To print directly the guide:

  1. Open your guide on phone, tablet or computer.

  2. Navigate to any page other than the home screen.

  3. Click the Print icon in the upper right hand of the screen.

  4. A new window will open up with the guide in printable form.

  5. Depending on your device, you can print or save the guide as a PDF.
