A QR code is type of barcode that stores information, usually a link to a website. Most phones have a camera app with built-in QR scanning capabilities.
A unique QR code has been generated for each of your guidebooks. When scanned by a guest, it will open up the guidebook on your guest’s phone.
Each of your guidebooks can be accessed by scanning its unique QR code. The QR code will remain the same even if you change the link to your guidebook, so you never need to replace it once printed. To get the QR code for a specific guidebook:
Log in to your Folio account.
Click on the guidebook to open the Guide Details Page.
Click on the Get QR Code button in the middle of the page.
A popup will appear with your guide’s QR code. Click the Save QR Code button to save the image onto your computer.
Click the X in the upper right-hand corner to close to popup and return to the Guide Details Page.
Display the QR code to your guidebook in high-traffic areas of your property (like the entryway or kitchen) to help guests access it more easily.
